Can it stop a bullet? Yes, it can.
A Swedish submachine gun became the weapon of choice for Navy SEALSs in the 1960’s. It became known as the Swedish K.
That particular gun was capable of firing ten 9 mm bullets per second with a muzzle velocity of 420 m/s. This particular snus can is made of an aluminum alloy that is designed to stop such a bullet, (it's been tested – the bottom is 2 mm thick).
After it having passed the test, Swedish Match ordered a limited edition of 600 of these cans from the same supplier as the Swedish armed forces. These are very, very hard to come by and presently we know of no store selling these cans.
